Normalmente, en inglés los adverbios son muy fáciles de formar: basta con añadir -ly al adjetivo correspondiente. Ejemplo:
loud → loudly
Excepciones a esta norma:
Para true, due, y whole se elimina la -e antes de añadir -ly.

Si el adjetivo acaba en -y, se convierte en -i al añadir -ly.
Ejemplo: happy → happily
Si el adjetivo acaba en consonante + -le, se elimina el -le antes de añadir -ly.

Si el adjetivo acaba en -ll, basta con añadir -y.
(pero: Si el adjetivo acaba solo en l, entonces sí habrá que añadirle -ly.)

*Adjetivos acabados en -ic: el adverbio se formará generalmente añadiendo -ally (excepción:public → publicly).

-Good-well; hard-hard; fast-fast; late-late; difficult-difficulty.
_Para los adjetivos acabados en -ly, (friendly, elderly-de edad evanzada-; lonely- soltario) se formará el adverbio con in a … way/manner, o usando un adverbio similar.
Ejemplo: friendly → in a friendly way/in a friendly manner
likely (probable) → probably
-Algunas palabras comparten forma para el adverbio y el adjetivo. De entre estos, los más importantes son:
daily, enough, early (precoz, temprano), far, fast, hard, hourly, kindly (amable, amablemente), little, long, low, monthly, much, straight, weekly, yearly.
Ejemplos:
a daily run → They go running daily.
a yearly concert → We go to the concert yearly.
Adverbs are NOT used to describe the following verbs. These verbs use adjectives.
Be I am quiet. NOTI am quietly.
Seem It seems strange. NOTIt seems strangely.
Look That looks nice. NOTThat looks nicely.
